CR-10 food composter was independently developed and designed by our company and won the Bronze Award at the 2023 Italy A’ Design Award competition. It is also the first time that a similar device from China has won a design award in this competition.
Design Concept: Creeks’ designers started with the concept of sustainable development and designed this equipment together with customers. The ideal location would be in the wash-up area of a kitchen, storeroom, or covered bin area. The CR-10 runs off a standard 13amp plug and requires ventilation to the outside or connection to a suitable waste pipe. The machine is manufactured of heavy gauge carbon steel and has a manual top loading door, where the food waste is loaded, and a front opening door used to harvest the compost every 10-14 days. An optional deodorizer processes the exhaust air before it is vented into the atmosphere.
